"Dhoom 3" has got an historic opening on day one. There was 95%-100% occupancy on day one all over India. 

As per the early estimates the movie has collected Rs. 33.12cr, which is fantastic. The movie seems to be heading towards an excellent first weekend. 

The promos of the movie stated that the year will end with a Dhoom and now looking at the first day collection of the movie even we think that year will end with a Dhoom at the box-office.

AAMIR SAYS "DHOOM 3" TICKET PRICES ARE NOT EXPENSIVE

"DHOOM 3" TICKET PRICES ARE NOT EXPENSIVE

There were rumours suggesting that the ticket prices of "Dhoom 3" are hiked like other big banner movies (like Chennai Express or Krissh 3). But, the rumours turn out to be false. In single screens and multiplexes, the ticket prices of "Dhoom 3" are in the usual price bracket of Rs. 50 - Rs. 380 depending on the show timing and theatre.

The makers of the movie were shocked when they came to know about these rumours.

"Dhoom 3" is the first Bollywood movie to release in IMAX theatres and as IMAX format is expensive, the ticket prices in these theatres would be in the price range of Rs 350 to Rs 900.

Aamir Khan says, "Dhoom 3 ticket prices are not expensive. They are priced just like the other movies that have released and in general, ticket prices also differ as per the show timings. It is also the first Hindi film to release in the IMAX format and there are a total of four such screens in India, two of which are in Mumbai. Apart from those four screens, the tickets of "Dhoom 3" are in the usual price range."

The Bollywood classic "Sholay" 3D version of the 1975, which was slated to release on megastar Amitabh Bachchan's 71st birthday on Friday, is now likely to release in January 3, 2014. The makers wanted a "four-week window" for the movie. 

"We have requested cinemas to give us a four-week window. So, we are currently in talks with cinemas for a date in January," Jayantilal Gada, who is the presenter of the movie, said in a statement. 

This movie is very significant for the makers, who have spent three years on the 3D project. 

"It's an old movie. We don't want to rush to cinemas for a one-week window because this is not like a Chennai Express or any new movie which gets a big opening," Gada added. 

Sholay, directed by Ramesh Sippy, is a landmark movie in Indian cinema. It featured Dharmendra as Veeru, Amitabh as his friend Jai, Hema Malini, who played the effervescent Basanti and the late Amjad Khan, who played iconic villain Gabbar Singh.

"Bigg Boss" has proven lucky for many contestants who have graced the show with their presence. Mostly a house filled with 'once famous' celebrities (or at least in the limelight for the wrong reasons), "Bigg Boss" has seen a myriad of people from all walks of life. And the latest to benefit from this is actress Tanisha, She is daughter of Tanuja and Kajol's younger sister.

Tanishaa has been garnering a lot of attention for her closeness to fellow inmate Armaan Kohli. Tanishaa has become so popular that she could be one of the finalists on the show. Also as per reports, the actress has been getting so many offers to perform at New Year's Eve bashes. We think that if Tanishaa participated in the international show Big Brother (on which Bigg Boss is based), she will become a bigger hit. Remember Shilpa Shetty? After the racist slurs that the late Jade Goody threw at her, Shilpa won everyone's sympathy on Big Brother and went on to win the show. Similarly, with Tanishaa's experience on "Bigg Boss", she will be well suited for Big Brother. Like Tanishaa, we think a few other actresses could also benefit from Big Brother and we think that they are fit for the international show.
